(Washington D.C.) – Aspect Labs founder Lee Foster spoke with The Cipher Brief's Eric Geller for an article on AI threats to elections, noting that we should expect to increasingly see actors attempt to use generative AI to target voters, and advocating that AI companies take measures such as creating internal threat intelligence teams to better catch such threats early. While Foster has previously cautioned against over-hyping the threat of generative AI to this year's upcoming presidential election, he did also note to the The Cipher Brief that the elections are still far off "...in terms of where development of AI platforms and tools may go."
